If the way I did this background is any indication, the best way to do that is to force yourself at gunpoint to make a comic with backgrounds heheh, there is no training like real combat experience.

Maybe the shadows would look prettier if they were a little bit more colorful, for example the same colors that you used here but a bit more purple-ish or blue-ish.

I love how much detailed is the pixel art!
Also, I think that the DB16 one is the prettiest, I find the colors delicate and harmonious together.
I hope that one day I become as good as you! (And I also hope to write in English better, I'm really sorry if there are some grammatical errors)
